Wyndham Park

Parks and Gardens

As far as locations go, this park is hard to beat; curving around the Werribee River and just a short walk from Werribee’s excellent coffee scene.

You can access Wyndham Park from Wedge Street Piazza, using the treetop footbridge to cross Werribee River.

Within the park, you’ll find rolling green lawns, riverside bike and walking tracks amongst the Red Gums, barbeques, outdoor exercise equipment and two huge playgrounds to enjoy.

The larger playground is for thrill seekers with big swings, flying foxes, climbing frame and a giant, 11-metre slide tower.

If you’re after something a little more low key, the nature play space is perfect for those little explorers, with its neat little cubby house, climbing structures, sandpits and waterplay features.

During the warmer months, the lawns are transformed into an event space for concerts, and festivals.

Werribee Train Station is a short 5-minute walk and you can pick up supplies for a picnic on Watton Street on your way.
